Changed Lives

Through the Next Step Project shelter, H-5 is partnering with Waikiki Health Center’s Care-A-Van, transitioning more than 200 homeless individuals into housing since its opening in 2006. Together with the University of Hawaii’s John Burn’s School of Medicine, the homeless are provided free weekly
health care check ups. Working with churches, schools and community groups, the homeless are provided with educational, social and spiritual classes that gives each person their next step in getting their life back.
